Supernatural Types

Angels

+ Angels @ SupernaturalWiki.
+ Feel free to follow the politics of the canon angels, or make a character that isn't tied to any side.
+ Keep in mind the common mentality of most angels, and that they require time away from Heaven and exposure to the human world in order to begin behaving more like humans and let their servitude fall to the wayside.
+ Their played bys would be human vessels, so keep that in mind as well. You should include something in their profiles about their vessels.
Demons

+ Demons @ SupernaturalWiki.
+ These characters should be (to some extent) historically-based. It takes years in hell before a soul turns to a demon. So please keep in mind that their experiences in their human lives would have been a little different than most other supernaturals. They can, by all means, have full knowledge of present times.
+ Their played bys would be host humans, so keep that in mind as well. You should include something in their profiles about their hosts.
Exceptions

+ These characters should be secondary to your initial application, preferably, but that's not set in stone. This list includes, but is not limited to: skinwalkers, pagan gods, fairies, ghosts, Okami, zombies and so on. Comment below if interested, or IM Woman Of Marvel on AIM.
Humans

+ These non-hunter characters should be the families, friends, lovers, colleagues and victims of the supernatural beings. They have no supernatural abilities as a base character, but could potentially be turned into a supernatural character as their story progresses.
Hunters

+ Hunters @ SupernaturalWiki. These characters, depending on their experiences, should have a good grasp on the supernatural line up of creatures within and outside of this game. These are the Winchesters of our little sphere. Just like the 'humans' above, they have no supernatural abilities unless otherwise noted in their profiles. Please, no 'Blades'.
Lycanthropes

+ Weres/Lycans @ SupernaturalWiki.
+ The following types of animals are available to be played as lycans:
  • Canines (Genus Canis): Gray wolves, red wolves, arctic wolves, coyotes, jackals.
  • Great Cats (Genus Panthera): Lions, tigers, leopards and [black] jaguars.
  • Big Cats: Snow leopards, cougars/pumas and cheetahs.
  • Bears (Genus Ursus): Black, brown and polar.
+ The term "alpha" has two meanings. There are alphas within packs, and alphas (individuals or packs) in a certain territory - it could be a neighborhood, a city or even a state, depending on the size of the pack. This position can be challenged under both meanings.
+ Powers? They have enhanced strength and agility, as well as sight, smell and taste. Weres possess an allure - humans and some other supernatural find them more attractive, thus giving lycans powers of persuasion. The downside to their abilities is, of course, their extreme carnal/aggressive tendencies, and the curse of having to change into feral beasts during the full moon.
+ In our (slightly) AU universe, lycans or "weres" are granted much longer lifespans than most genres. For every ten years of a lycan's life past the age of eighteen (or however old they were after being turned), they only age one calendar year. So if someone gets turned into a werewolf at age twenty, one hundred years later, they will only look thirty. They are not immortal - they do (obviously) age.
+ We will be supporting the idea of packs in this game.
+ For big cats/canines, add 100+ lbs to their human weight for their lycan weight.
+ Depending on the natural animal their lycanthropy is based on, lycans have different sleeping/waking habits than normal human beings.
+ Lycans are capable of changing into their animal form a week before and a week after the full moon, simply by their own will. The further away from the full moon they are, the more difficult and draining shifting becomes. Two weeks on either side of the full moon is the most difficult time for lycans to change into their animal forms, and can only do so under heightened emotions or should their pack be in a frenzy (emotional, feeding, or otherwise). In these instances, they must eat and sleep heavily to recover from the taxing experience on both their forms.

+ The following are available to be played here: astral projectors, clairvoyants, telepaths, dream walkers, empaths, mediums and cross-dimensional awareness.
+ A lot of these have been shown in the series, so between other fandoms and what we've seen of each of these in Supernatural, you should have something to go by.

Witches

+ Witches, within the Supernatural universe, can possess elongated lives. In order to add years or youth to their bodies, they must perform some sort of sacrifice - and regularly.
  • 4.07 Long-lived (Satanic) witches Don Harding and Tracy Davis sacrifice humans in attempts to raise Samhain.
  • 4.12 Charlie kills competitors to keep Jay alive, intends to regain their youth and immortality.
  • 5.07 Patrick and Lia are 900+ years old and play cards to gain years from their opponents, often times killing them.
  • 7.05 Maggie and Don Stark are 800+ years old and kill human beings and anything else, simply based on their emotional states and personal feelings.
+ There are two types of witches within our (AU) universe. Some witches are born with a talent for magic (natural witches) and some learn the magic arts (normally through apprenticeships).
+ Do decide if your witch is dark, light or neutral, check here.
+ Natural witches can harness the mystical forces of the earth itself. Each of these characters can have one main focus or 'talent', including the follow: water, air, earth, plants, fire, metal, electricity and animal communication. These elemental witches (both male and female) are our neutral types. There are also the traditional 'dark' and 'light' magics that could be practiced by any sort of witch. These witches also have superhuman abilities, should they follow the dark/light paths to the extreme. Dark witches can develop umbrakinesis (control of the dark) and light witches can harness light (photokinesis).
